My sister and her family were able to come out for a couple of weeks, much to my joy. Their first full day here, we drove down to Mystic Seaport.

All of the kids are super excited to go.

It was my first time seeing old whaling boats and stuff up close, much less being able to board them. I was amazed at how big they look when you're next to them, but how small and claustrophobic they are once you're in them.

Uh, oh. Everybody watch out. Joseph is at the helm!

How are we supposed to stand up in these things?

Just look at the size of that anchor.

The Planetarium was a hit.

There was a cute little Children's Museum within the Seaport.

Lunch in the galley is ready, courtesy of shipmate Miriam.

Meanwhile Joseph and Isabelle are bringing in some fish for dinner.

Peekaboo!
Can you tell we're sisters?
