Miri is so cute...

Last week, during family home evening, Jonathan asked, "What did Jesus do?" And Miriam's response was, "He died!" (said in an excited tone) Then she said, "And that's a good thing. He died for US!"

Yesterday, we were talking at the dinner table about how girls should marry boys, not other girls and the same for boys. That this is what Heavenly Father wants and we should obey him, etc. (gay marriages were just leagalized in Connecticut this week). And then Miriam pipes up with, "Yeah, and when you get mirried you have a lamb. I'm Miri so I get to have a lamb too." (It took me a few moments to put together that she was thinking of "Mary had a little lamb.")
